Because your eyes are set apart from each other they
perceive any scene uniquely, forcing your brain to compare the two pictures.
Messages are signalled to a separate part of your brain as muscles shift your
eyes about, to process your view of the world in three-dimensional form.
Your right eye, corresponding to the right side of your body is controlled by
the left side of your brain.
Your left eye, corresponding to the left side of your body, is controlled by the
right side of your brain.
Healthy vision depends
on quality integration between both sides of your brain. Since the 1930's visual
therapists have been utilizing rebounding exercise techniques as a tool in
therapy programmes for retraining vision.
